Just an hour's drive from the Domaine, the city of Marseille awaits you with open arms.<\/p>\n

After parking at the H\u00f4tel de Ville\/Vieux Port car park, you arrive at the Old Port. The lapping of the boats, the cries of the seagulls, the shining sun.<\/p>\n

The choice is yours: stroll around the port and sip a coffee or even a good Pastis, or go and explore the iconic Panier district\u2026 Pretty alleyways, staircases, graffiti, anonymous declarations of love, beautiful shops\u2026 Time stands still in this unique space.<\/p>\n

And for a typical Southern lunch, stop and eat At Etienne's<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>Pizzas and soups with garlic and parsley that are to die for!<\/p>\n

Then, to end the afternoon in style, hop aboard the Bateau-Frioul-If shuttle boats and explore the Frioul Islands or the Ch\u00e2teau d'If at your leisure. We, for our part, strolled around the Frioul Islands where the view was sublime and the air crisp with the mistral wind. So, what better way to unwind than a little time on a caf\u00e9 terrace to warm up with a good coffee and put the world to rights? \u2728<\/p>\n
