Ingredients
- 1 cup of pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs
- 3 bananas
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 ¼ cups flour
- 1 sachet of yeast
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp 4 spices
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ tbsp vanilla extract
The + DLP: 1 bar of dark chocolate cut into large pieces
Preparation
Preheat the oven to Th6.
Mix the pumpkin puree and the sugar then the mashed bananas.
Add the eggs, then the orange juice, melted coconut oil and vanilla.
Mix well then add the flour mixed with the yeast, spices and salt.
Cut the chocolate into large pieces and add them to the previous dough.
Pour into a cake tin covered with baking paper.
Bake for about 35 minutes. Check that it is cooked through by inserting a knife blade into the cake – it should come out dry.
Enjoy the cake warm – the chocolate will be slightly melted.
DLP Tips
For a no-glu version, we recommend the 50/50 rice flour/chestnut flour mix.
For a more indulgent version, replace the dark chocolate with milk chocolate.
