For those feeling Christmas melancholic, we share with you our other flagship Christmas shortbread recipes made this year, finally in 2024!

Hazelnut shortbread cookies

 

Ingredients 

200g soft butter

175g flour

70 g icing sugar

50g hazelnuts

1 egg white

Some hazelnuts

 

Preparation

Preheat the Th6 oven

Roast the hazelnuts then grind them coarsely.

Mix the softened butter with the sugar until you obtain a nice cream.

Add the flour, hazelnut powder, egg white and fleur de sel.

On a plate, make small domes of dough – put a hazelnut on each one.

Put in the oven for 25 minutes

The cookies should be removed just when golden brown.

 

The little extras of DLP

Add a little rum to the dough or candied orange peel cut into small pieces.
