"The world must know what is happening, otherwise who will tell it?"
Steve McCurry describes himself as a "visual counter": through his view of the world he depicts life in the four corners of the globe, the culture of peoples, whether ancestral or contemporary, the upheavals that humanity is experiencing but also and above all he suspends the moment.
By looking where others do not, by staying in the same place for hours to capture the perfect shot, the American photographer reveals to us all the beauty of the world as well as its cruelty.
